Why Embrace Traditional (Classic) Wet Shaving? Wet shaving offers a superior shaving experience and healthier skin compared to using multi-blade cartridges or dry/electric razors. Despite the initial perception of higher costs, wet shaving actually proves to be more cost-effective in the long run. Moreover, it is an environmentally sustainable practice that reduces waste compared to using cartridge or disposable razors. Beyond its practical benefits, wet shaving can transform your daily grooming routine into a soulful and meaningful experience.

CLASSIC SHAVING SOAPS

Our high-quality shaving soaps are made with a rich blend of vegetable fats and glycerin. These fats, derived from coconut, Shea butter, and castor oils, play a crucial role in providing lubrication and protection to the skin during the shaving process. This helps the blade glide smoothly over the skin without causing any irritation or nicks. Glycerin, which is obtained from vegetable oil, is also an important ingredient. It acts as a humectant, locking in moisture and keeping the skin hydrated. Additionally, it acts as an effective emollient, softening the beard and leaving the skin feeling smooth and moisturized.

FOR BEST RESULTS:

Our Classic Shaving Soap can be lathered up with a shaving brush using a shaving bowl, mug or a deep dish. To build up a good lather, follow these steps:

1. Wet beard with warm/hot water (after a shower is best). Remove lid from jar and scoop out (use of a cosmetic spatula is helpful) an Almond Size amount of shave soap and place into your Shave Bowl. HINT: add 3-4 drops of water directly onto the soap. Using a lightly wet shave brush, lather the soap using circular and pumping up and down motions directly in the shave bowl Continue to swirl/pump over the shave soap for 25-30 sec to load the brush. Add 3-4 drops of water directly into the bowl, as needed to create a rich lather.

2. Take the lathered shave brush and begin to build lather directly onto your beard. Build the lather up by vigorously swirling the shaving brush in circular and side to side motions adding 3-4 drops of water as needed for desired lather density.

3. Using a clean and sharp razor, shave the entire beard area. If a second or third pass is required add a few more drops of water to the shaving brush then re-lather the beard ( without using more soap). Rinse and clean with a warm face cloth. Follow with our Elvado After Shave Lotion.

   HELPFUL HINTS: Make sure the brush bristles are adequately wet with warm/hot water. Do not tap/squeeze too much excess water out of the brush bristles. Apply and massage the rich lather with the shaving brush evenly across your bearded area in circular motions. This will also increase the lather‘s density, soften your whiskers, and allow them to stand up, allowing the razor to sit close to the base of the hair follicle. Empty excess water from the jar/tub and leave it open so it can air-dry (5-6 min) before placing the jar lid back on.

   AFTER SHAVE LOTION

   WHY USE AFTER SHAVE LOTIONS: Formulated with premium plant bio-actives that include Shea, and Mango Seed Butter, Jojoba Oil, Aloe Vera and Witch Hazel that hydrate, condition, protect and helps relieve skin irritation, dryness and razor burn.

   How to Use: Apply 1-2 pumps of lotion onto palm of hand and massage evenly over shaved area. Enjoy!

PRE-SHAVE | BEARD GROOMING

WHY USE PRE-SHAVE OIL : If you have sensitive skin or are prone to irritation after shaving, using Pre-Shave Oil is a must. Pre-shave oil softens your beard so the razor can easily cut through the hairs, without pulling on your skin or causing skin irritation. How to Use: Prior to shaving simply massage 2 - 3 drops of the oil over the entire beard area. Wait 1 min allowing the oil to penetrate the beard hair and skin before applying the soap lather.
